This Early Hamsa Necklace by Chandally honours one of the ancient world’s most recognisable protective symbols through richly textured 18K gold filigree. Chandally uses an early form of the hamsa, traditionally associated with goodness and protection, allowing history and craftsmanship to become inseparable within the substantial pendant. Delicate filigree covers the hand-shaped surface and converges toward a single white diamond at the centre, whose brightness creates a powerful visual focus. The result feels talismanic without losing its artistic sophistication, joining deeply rooted symbolism with the fine wirework inherited through Sharón Chandally Pedrini’s Yemenite silversmithing lineage. It is protection rendered as wearable sculpture.
