This Mahal Wanderlust Ring by Donatella Balsamo translates Tibetan prayer-wheel imagery into a richly coloured jewellery object. A cylindrical centre echoes the spinning forms engraved with sacred text in Buddhist traditions, while natural cabochon micro-tourmalines introduce a sequence of varied colours around the surface. The contrast between the flat band and the dimensional cylinder gives the ring an architectural presence, while the rainbow of stones reflects the broader Mahal collection’s fascination with India and spiritual heritage. It feels both talismanic and decorative without becoming an overt reproduction of a religious object.
