This Mahal Ruby Wave Band by Donatella Balsamo follows a soft sculptural curve with fourteen natural rubies, allowing the gemstones to intensify the movement of the band rather than simply decorate it. Matte gold vermeil provides a rich but subdued setting that makes the red stones appear especially saturated. The design balances organic texture with precise gemstone work, giving it a more refined character than a conventional colour band. Worn with the emerald and diamond Wave Rings, it forms part of a striking three-colour composition; alone, the rubies provide more than enough presence.
