These Pearl Drop Stud Earrings in Oxidised Silver by Kate Wood create a striking monochrome contrast between luminous baroque pearls and blackened sterling silver. The dark patinated setting gives the familiar pearl drop a more contemporary, slightly moody character, while hand-torched ball detailing reinforces the artisanal quality of the design. Each pearl retains its naturally irregular teardrop form, so subtle differences in shape become part of the appeal rather than something to conceal. At approximately 20mm long, the earrings remain compact and easy to wear despite their strong contrast. Refined but unconventional, they are especially effective for anyone drawn to pearls with a less traditional, more graphic point of view.
