This Evie Hammered 18ct Fairmined Gold Wedding Band by Shakti Ellenwood demonstrates how expressive a simple gold band can become when the making process is left visible. Round wire is hammered flat by hand, producing broad angular facets that catch the light in shifting planes across the surface. With no stones or additional ornament, Evie is entirely about material, proportion and the small irregularities created at the bench. Each ring therefore carries its own pattern of marks. Its delicate widths make it ideal beside an engagement ring or stacked in mixed gold tones, where multiple hammered surfaces create a soft, changing shimmer rather than a uniform polished line.
