This Jessamine Ruby Engagement Ring by Shakti Ellenwood embraces the irregularity of a remarkable rose-cut ruby rather than forcing it into conventional symmetry. At 2.4 carats, the stone has significant presence, yet its organic outline and softly faceted surface give it a more ancient, earthy character than a precision-cut center gem. A gently hammered Fairmined gold band continues that sense of hand-worked imperfection, drawing inspiration from historic Greek jewelry. Jessamine is consequently both dramatic and intimate, with the ruby’s natural form making the original ring genuinely one of a kind. Future versions can only be interpreted rather than duplicated, preserving the individuality at the heart of the design.
