These Pearl Stud Earrings by Carina Hardy offer an artful interpretation of the classic pearl earring. A natural pink pearl rests inside an organic teardrop form, almost as though the gem has returned to its protective shell. Drawing on the imagery of Venus emerging from the sea, the design evokes water, softness and renewal without sacrificing its contemporary character. Their delicate proportions make them especially effective alongside other earrings, while the unusual setting gives them enough personality to stand beautifully alone.
Carina Hardy has lived between Bali and New York City her entire life. Growing up in a family of jewellers, she was encouraged to push creative limits and trust hand craftsmanship. A designer and artist, Carina roots her practice in reverence for the strength and softness of women, working across mediums including plaster, inflatables, ice and metal. Together with her partner Tavish, she established Carina Hardy in 2024.
