YSSO is a London and Athens-based jewelry brand blending history, modernity, and sustainability in their exquisite handcrafted designs. Founded by mother-and-daughter duo, Stalo and Alexia Karides, YSSO combines Stalo's three decades of jewelry making expertise with Alexia's creative vision. Together, they personally design each jewel, always beginning their design process at the place where emotion meets function.
Rooted in heritage, YSSO jewelry reflects a timeless Greek-inspired aesthetic. Stalo and Alexia also draw cultural inspiration from their lives in France and the UK. Reimagining traditional patterns, motifs and symbols in a modern context, their designs emerge as a fusion of the past and the present. The designers believe jewelry is a canvas for personal expression, capable of carrying memories and stories. Inspired by the Japanese concept of Wabi-sabi, YSSO embraces authenticity and finding beauty in imperfection.
