Harriet Morris

I want to surprise, and I want to challenge the expectations around jewellery.

London-based emerging jewellery designer Harriet Morris is definitely one to watch, with her bold, impactful and larger than life designs.

Harriet studied History of Art at Cambridge followed by an early career in set and costume design for spectacles such as the London 2012 Olympic Ceremonies. She began her jewellery studies at Kensington & Chelsea College, later moving to Mexico to continue them. In 2017, Harriet started making jewels in the magical city of San Miguel de Allende, in the central highlands of Mexico where she lived for 4 years. Here she studied with the maestro Billy King at Sterling Quest School before building her own workshop and showcasing her jewellery in Mexico City. This experience of culture clash is Harriet’s playground: academia/entertainment, Mexico/UK, tradition/irreverence. She draws inspiration from it all.

In November 2020, Harriet completed the Goldsmith Centre’s business incubator scheme Setting Out during which she developed and launched her majestic Relics collection.

Transparency in both process and production is important to Harriet. She strives to use materials that are recycled or repurposed.
