Dora Kovacs was born and raised in Budapest, Hungary, and traveled across the world before moving to New York. Surrounded very early by her father’s experience designing buildings as an architect, Dora developed an unconditional love for drawing and painting. She studied art history and painting in her early years in Budapest. Then, after 10 years in the advertising industry, she happily found her way back to design and creation. Moving to New York, her love for architecture became a daily source of inspiration for her designs.

Dora’s aim has been to create timeless pieces for women that not only decorate, but also capture their heart while emphasizing their strength, independence, and personality. She considers her pieces timeless yet modern with a focus on designing clean lines and sculptural silhouettes. Her style embodies a contemporary and experimental trend through the use of natural yet quirky elements and shapes.

Dora’s inspiration for her jewelry has always come from her life experiences. Her Doors collection is inspired by her her travels around the world, her homeland and the city she now calls home. Her Weight of Love collection is inspired by her children and celebrates motherhood.
