Aneta studied psychology and philosophy in Prague before leaving to travel the world. After living in Australia for 7 years, she moved to New York City to study design. In 2015, Aneta felt an urge to create something with her hands and took a course in jewelry making. Her very first studio was in the heart of Manhattan where she was offered an apprenticeship and learned metal smithing. She found another studio to learn wax carving and fell in love. Jewelry making was truly her passion and in 2018, she launched her own brand.
Aneta Zae jewelry started as a realization of the ever-thirsty feeling of creating art that would be deep, emotional and tangible. Art to wear that is relatable and that people would love. The use of hands and heart in the process would be the ultimate necessary conditions.
Aneta creates jewelry that is timeless, bold, playful and otherworldly at the same time. Nature is the ultimate inspiration. Its beauty is mystical and playful, audacious and full of spirit. Art that reflects these qualities should also inspire the imagination of the soul that wears it, providing a connection to the magic that is our world.
