Natacha Matayer is a Haitian-American private jeweler and gemologist based in Miami, Florida. She established her luxury jewelry brand, JNCY Jewelers, in the summer of 2019 to fill the void in the minority bridal category and educate her community on diamonds, colored gemstones and precious metals. Her goal is to help clients celebrate those forever moments like engagements, birthdays, promotions, anniversaries, as well as those “just because” moments.
JNCY appeals to us because it feels closer to a conversation with a jeweler than a rigid bridal formula. That matters. Engagement jewelry can become strangely prescriptive, with endless advice about what a ring is supposed to look like rather than who is actually going to wear it. The pieces we respond to most are the ones that allow personality into the equation. We would send a couple here when they want a meaningful, properly considered jewel but would rather begin the conversation with themselves than with a checklist of bridal conventions.
