Jane Bartel is a designer and a maker in equal parts. In 2014, she established her eponymous jewelry brand in New York, where her native West Coast casual meets the city’s chic. Her inherent affinity for nature shines through in her designs. Her contemporary collections reimagine both everyday and heirloom pieces, inspired primarily by the organic forms and ethereal colors of the ocean. Whether a sleek, elevated essential or an all-out statement style, every collection infuses artisanal design with a creative spirit.

The singular look of Jane Bartel Jewelry is achieved using the intricate lost-wax casting technique, an experiential process that the jeweler often allows to inform the final product. This instinctive, hands-on approach is what gives each piece its individuality and sense of adventure. Every piece is made by hand in New York using recycled gold and responsibly sourced gemstones. A portion of sales is also donated to the California-based Heal the Bay foundation, a nonprofit close to Jane’s heart that strives to rejuvenate the coastline.
