The Touch of Ami Ring

The sparkling brilliance of a single diamond can leave us in awe, but the Touch of Ami ring by SWA Diamonds takes it to a whole new level. This stunning piece of jewelry has set a new Guinness World Record for the Most Diamonds Set In One Ring. Can you guess how many diamonds it holds? The answer may surprise you - it boasts a staggering 24,679 diamonds!

This extraordinary achievement was accomplished by the team at SWA Diamonds in Kerala, India in May 2022, and it nearly doubles the previous record of 12,638 diamonds held by the Marigold Ring. Abdul Gafur Anadiyan, Managing Director of SWA Diamonds, said, “It is our privilege and honor that this ring was made in India. The Touch of Ami also marks the triumph of entrepreneurship in the diamond sector of our state.”

The ring was designed by Rijisha TV, a 27-year-old designer who recently graduated with a Masters in Lifestyle Accessories Design from the National Institute of Design. Her design features 41 unique diamond encrusted petals, inspired by pink oyster mushrooms which symbolize immortality and longevity in India. The name "Ami" also means immortality in Sanskrit, and it is hoped that the ring will bring "a touch of immortality" to its wearer.

Weighing 340 grams and valued at $95,243, it took the SWA team of expert designers, craftsmen, and jewelers six months to turn this dream project into a reality. The Touch of Ami ring is truly a marvel to behold, and its 24,679 diamonds leave us breathless.
