Founded in 1998 by Charles Wang, who saw jewelry as a vessel for emotion rather than decoration, the brand began as a studio crafting pieces for high-end labels. When a father could not afford to turn his child’s drawing into a pendant, Charles realized that personalized jewelry needed to be accessible. This moment reshaped YFN’s purpose. In 2014, the brand launched globally with an easy-to-use online customization platform supported by AR try-on features and the craftsmanship of skilled artisans. YFN works exclusively with high-quality sterling silver and gold while maintaining strict environmental standards.
