Marc Jacobs

Born in New York City, Marc showed an early interest in fashion, leading him to attend Parsons School of Design. In 1984, at the age of 21, Jacobs launched his eponymous label, Marc Jacobs, with the help of business partner Robert Duffy. In 1987, he became the youngest designer ever to be awarded the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA) Perry Ellis Award for New Fashion Talent.

During his 16-year tenure, he introduced iconic pieces such as the "Monogram Vernis" and collaborated with artists like Takashi Murakami, Stephen Sprouse, and Richard Prince, making Louis Vuitton a powerhouse in the fashion industry.
