Liv Oliver grew out of a family luxury-jewelry environment, and you can feel that familiarity with glamour in the collection. There is Art Deco, Art Nouveau and old-Hollywood influence, but the stronger pieces avoid looking like reproductions. What we particularly enjoy is the confidence. Pearls, tassels, colour and bigger silhouettes are treated as things women can actually wear, not museum references to another era. We would happily put one of these earrings on at lunch.
