“Affordable luxury jewelry that is everyday armor for everybody.”
Erin Fader
As a child, Erin was naturally creative and entrepreneurial, nurtured by her athlete parents who inspired a go-getter mentality. She loved making things with her hands and this continued into adulthood through photography dark rooms, sewing, and floral design. Erin’s initiation into jewelry began while working at a vintage clothing store, where she fell in love with the history of fashion, jewelry and women. Finding inspiration in vintage brooches and playing with broken jewelry pieces, everything just clicked. Erin enrolled at the prestigious GIA and was inspired to build her own affordable luxury jewelry brand. In her initial years, she worked as a waitress to make this dream a reality. Erin’s first jewelry line “Trashy Chic” focused on repurposing vintage jewelry. Continuing to evolve as an artist, Erin rebranded and relaunched in 2012 when she was invited to showcase at San Diego Fashion Week. Reflecting on her journey, Erin shares, “Keep going because you will create something beautiful if you just keep believing and trying".
